Douglas County High School Dances -  Guest Expectations

Not all DCHS dances allow outside guests - you must check with the DCHS Administration if guests are permitted to a certain event.

If outside guests are allowed to attend our scheduled dance, the DCHS guest form MUST be received and
approved prior to purchasing tickets.  Guests will not be permitted to enter the event without prior approval.  All guests must present a photo ID (student ID or driver’s license) at the door as their name will be linked to the DCHS student they are attending with.

ONLY 1 GUEST PER STUDENT ALLOWED.  All guests must accompany a DCHS student.  Guests MUST BE UNDER THE AGE OF 21 AND AT LEAST IN THE 9TH GRADE.   Middle School students are not permitted to attend.

Guests to Douglas County High School events are expected to behave, dance, and dress appropriately for attendance and participation.  No costumes, masks, hats, or other inappropriate attire is allowed.  It is the expectation that all guests of any Douglas County High School event demonstrate behavior and dress, which are appropriate to the event.  Douglas County High School will enforce the Dance Policy.  Students and guests are expected to dance appropriately, according to the policies in the student planner.  Students and/or their guest attending DCHS events will not be allowed to display negative behavior or behave or dress in a manner that would disrespect the event and/or dishonor other students.  Douglas County High School reserves the right to deny admission to any guest that does not follow these guidelines.  In addition, Douglas County High School reserves the right to ask guests to leave if their behavior, including their dress and dancing, is
inappropriate.

Douglas County High School reserves the right to search any tote, bag, duffel bag or purse that is the possession of a student or guest.
