2018 Club/Activities Fair
saw great participation to get
ALL students at DCHS
connected!

The annual Club/Activities Fair was held on Thursday, 8/23 during AA time in the North Gym.  This was a great time to check out all of the amazing clubs and activities DCHS has to offer this year to supplement our student's education.

"Extracurricular and co-curricular activities provide a channel for reinforcing the lessons learned in the classroom, offering students the opportunity to apply academic skills in a real-world context, and are thus considered part of a well-rounded education. Recent research suggests that participation in extracurricular activities may increase students' sense of engagement or attachment to their school, and thereby decrease the likelihood of school failure and dropping out (Lamborn et al, 1992; Finn, 1993). Indicators of successful participation in school include consistent attendance, academic achievement, and aspirations for continuing education beyond high school."

All of our current clubs/activities can be found on the DCHS website at

Please encourage your sons/daughters to find something they would like to be a part of at DCHS!

It does make a difference in their education!
