Clubs

DCHS offers various clubs that extend learning beyond the classroom and allows students to make positive contributions to the community of Castle Rock and Douglas County.

This page contains information regarding each club. Students at Douglas County are encouraged to participate in clubs to add yet another positive experience to their high school career.

Students wishing to start a new club must complete a Club Application and submit it to Ms. Shuck in the South Main Office. Please DOWNLOAD and PRINT the application through the link at the left (1st button).

All Clubs must have a faculty sponsor. Non-curricular clubs must meet outside of academic school hours. Theycannotmeet during the hours of 7:45am - 2:54pm. This means that non-curricular clubs must complete meetings by 7:40 am and start meetings after 2:56 pm.

Please note that ALL Board of Education policies regarding student conduct are in effect at any scheduled activity or event regardless of where they are held. To the LEFT is a list of the clubs that are offered at DCHS. Please link to the applicable club and contact the faculty sponsor for more information.

Each SEPTEMBER, DCHS has a CLUB/ACTIVITY Recruitment Fair. This is for students who are considering joining a club/activity and getting involved.
